What is Mesotherapy?
A type of treatment administered by a licensed and certified health personnel that uses multiple microinjections of medications into the middle layer of the skin called "mesoderm "for the purpose of reducing fat, wrinkles & cellulite. It
is also used for body contouring.
The amount of medications used varies from one individual to another. After a thorough evaluation and screening by our clinicians a specific "formula" and treatment plan is determined and mutually agreed upon.

What areas of the body can be treated?
The usual areas of treatment include chin, neck, abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and arms.

Does it hurt?
People find that the micro-injections are relatively painless. The area is applied with a topical anesthetic and the medication is combined with a local anesthetic. The size of the needle is that of an eyelash..

What are the side-effects?
- Bruising
- Itching
- Swelling
All the above are localized and resolves in a few days.

Is the treatment for everyone?
Male and females 18 to 75 years of age and in good health can receive the treatment. However, a thorough health assessment and screening by a clinician is essential to ascertain safety and effectivity of the treatment.

How long is the treatment?
Every 2 weeks until the desired effect is achieved. Usually a dramatic effect is appreciated after 3 to 4 treatments and a maintenance treatment of once a month is recommended.

What are the things I should do while on the treatment?
Remember that the program is in conjunction with a healthy diet, proper exercise, adequate sleep and relaxation as well as a stress-free environment; to the best of your ability. Alcohol intake should be in moderation and smoking is prohibited.

Are there any other treatments for cellulite and topical fat reduction?
Yes, liposuction is an alternative. This is a surgical procedure that requires anesthesia. The postoperative period usually is a lot longer and more painful and pain medications may be required postoperatively. You should consult your physician prior to deciding which treatment option is best for you.

What happens if I stop in the middle of the treatment?
- Fatty tissues grow back
- Skin loses elasticity
- Eventually, self-worth and self-esteem declines
No matter what, the psychological toll it takes on a person who has cellulite and unsightly fat pads can be devastating when their self-esteem and confidence is lost
.
